A GARDEN-INSPIRED WEDDING AT THE SLOVER LIBRARY
This past June, I had the joy of designing wedding florals for Audrey and Adam’s beautiful celebration at the Slover Library in Norfolk, Virginia. Their vision was soft, whimsical, and garden-inspired—an aesthetic that felt perfectly at home in the airy architecture of the library. With a pastel palette of blush, white, and light blue, their florals brought an effortless romance to every corner of the day.

A Whimsical Garden Palette
To bring Audrey and Adam’s vision to life, we worked with a lush selection of blooms: Garden Roses, Peonies, Butterfly Ranunculus, Tweedia, Delphinium, Stock, Lisianthus, and plenty of Eucalyptus for softness. The combination created a light, airy look full of natural texture—like a flourishing garden gathered at its most delicate moment.
Ceremony
Their ceremony featured a simple yet elegant floral piece for the chuppah, designed to feel organic and gently flowing. The pastel blooms and fresh greenery framed the couple beautifully while allowing the architecture of the space to shine through.
Reception
For the reception, we leaned into lush, garden-style designs with full compote centerpieces arranged in soft pastels and airy textures. Candles added a warm, romantic glow to the guest tables, while bud vases scattered throughout the space brought delicate pops of color and complemented the overall atmosphere.
A Joyful Celebration
Audrey and Adam’s wedding was truly a delight to design—from their sweet, uplifting color palette to their love for natural, whimsical blooms. The Slover Library provided the perfect backdrop for their elegant yet relaxed celebration, and I’m grateful to have played a part in their beautiful day.
